Welcome!! Rod and I are anxiously anticipating our up-coming vacation. We are leaving next Saturday for 14 days, during which we will drive approximately 2,800 miles, with our two dogs. I chose the word ”anxiously” carefully – it has a couple of meanings, right? We are excited, and a little nervous. Pet-friendly travel can be a bit of a challenge. It took me a full two days just to book the hotels! We still have no idea where we’re going to eat. Also, the thought of putting Ty (35 pound Shar-pei) in the back seat with his recently rescued brother, Buster (65 pound German Shepherd) is a little daunting. Just a few short weeks ago Ty was determined to use any means necessary to convice Buster that he really didn’t want to live here – but that’s another story for another day.
